(1), In accordance with EU regulations (EC) No 1223/2009, directive 86/199/EEC and 2005/80/EC, be included in Annex V/17 and III/1a.

Can be applied to eye products, maximum concentration is 0.007% (as Hg) and 3.0% (as boric acid), the content of mercury and the content of boric acid should simultaneously be conformed to the maximum concentration.

(2), In accordance with Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (2015 Edition) of China, be included in preservatives allowed. Boric acid is included in the restricted components.
