[Terminology] Solubilization
In system, because of presence of surfactants, solubility of the solute which is insoluble or slightly soluble in solvent is significantly improved effect.
Typical solvent is water; typical solute is organic compound.
Only when surfactant’s concentration is greater than critical micelle concentration, solubilization will obviously show.
Different from emulsion system, solubilization system is thermodynamically stable.
